i can only play the begginging of sunshine of your love, smoke on the water, and paint it black, i need some good starting songs to play by some classic rock bands. thanks.

black sabbath had some pretty good easier stuff...all guitar players should know iron man...
ac/dc is one of my guitar teachers favorite artists to teach...rock and roll(aint noise pollution)...you shook me all night long...

one of the first things i ever made myself learn was crazy train by ozzy osbourne...
another was jump in the fire by metallica.

You Really Got Me by Van Halen0% 0 Votes - Im going to tell you from experience, when I started playing 4 years ago I tried learning pretty woman by vh, and to play it note for note and effect for effect you have to be pretty good at playing and have alot of time and patience. But you can always use your minfd to improv.
Here are a few pretty easy, heavy songs. Keep on rockin in the free world by neil young, its played in power chords and 3 cowboy chords during the verse. The beginning of all along the watchtower (jimi hendrix version) is easy. Um and one more il suggest is proud mary by ccr. Good luck0% 0 Votes - hmmm.... songs that are easy to play, by the band that features 1 of the top 5 guitar players in the history of the world.... I don't think what you're looking for exists. You might want to start out with some punk, Ramones, Misfits, etc, master those 3 chords then work your way up.0% 0 Votes
